Notice concerning the delivery of OTTOBRE design® kids 4/2021 magazine issue

Dear Subscriber of OTTOBRE design® magazine,

We informed you earlier that problems have occurred in the delivery of issue 4/2021 of OTTOBRE design® kids magazine. The magazines shipped by air from our printing house in Finland on Thursday July 22, 2021 got lost on their way to the air cargo terminal.

We have, together with our logistics company, been trying to locate our magazine shipment that comprises several pallets but have unfortunately not been able to track it down.

We have now printed a new batch of magazines and started re-shipping them to those subscribers who haven’t received their magazines due to the delay.

The delay concerns:

• the Finnish magazine edition for subscribers outside Finland

• the Swedish magazine edition for subscribers outside Sweden

• the German magazine edition for subscribers outside Germany

• the Dutch magazine edition for subscribers in all countries

• the French magazine edition for subscribers in all countries

• the Spanish magazine edition for subscribers in all countries

• the English magazine edition for subscribers in all countries

All delayed magazines will be re-shipped by September 3, 2021. It normally takes 1–2 weeks for the magazines to reach their subscribers in Europe and 2–3 weeks in the rest of the world. Please also bear in mind the current situation of the postal services in your country.

The delay does not concern:

• the Finnish magazine edition for subscribers in Finland

• the Swedish magazine edition for subscribers in Sweden

• the German magazine edition for subscribers in Germany

• customers with new continuous or fixed-term subscriptions for one year, starting from issue 4/2021 of OTTOBRE design® kids magazine

What to do if you haven’t received your magazine yet

We will make sure that every subscriber of OTTOBRE design® receives the latest autumn issue 4/2021. We apologize for the delay in the delivery of the magazine due to circumstances beyond our control. On the basis of our customer register, we have full knowledge of the contents of the missing air shipment. We will re-ship the delayed magazines on the basis of that knowledge.

• If you belong to a category that the delay concerns, there is no need for you to contact our Customer Care about receiving your magazine. We will do our best to ensure that your magazine arrives as soon as possible.

• If you belong to a category that the delay shouldn’t concern but you haven’t received the latest magazine issue, please contact our Subscription Services

Dear Subscriber of OTTOBRE design® magazine,

We regret to inform you that problems have occurred in the delivery of issue 4/2021 of OTTOBRE design® kids magazine. The magazines were shipped by air from our printing house in Finland to a sorting center in continental Europe on July 22, 2021.

We received the first notifications from our customers about missing magazines on August 8. According to the tracking service, the magazines arrived at the air cargo terminal on July 27, 2021. Normally, the magazines would have reached customers by August 3, the official release date of the issue. Unfortunately this failed to happen.

At the moment, we, together with our logistics company, are trying to locate our magazine shipment, comprising several pallets, as it never arrived at the sorting center. We are truly sorry for the delay and the inconvenience it may cause. Our logistics company reported that in general, distribution centers are currently suffering from totally unexpected backlogs due to a huge increase in cargo traffic. The backlogs are currently being cleared.

It is naturally of primary importance to us that all of our customers receive the magazine they have subscribed to as soon as possible and will be able to enjoy autumn sewing. Therefore, unless the situation is solved within the next few days, we have decided to run a reprint of the magazine issue to replace the missing magazines. Every subscriber will thus eventually receive the magazine.

We will inform you further as soon as we find out what happened to the shipped magazines. This delay doesn’t concern all subscribers of OTTOBRE design® magazine.
