OTTOBRE design® magazine is published by a small Finnish family company, Studio Tuumat Oy. The company was established in 1987, and the first OTTOBRE design® magazine was published in the year 2000. The company’s editorial office and design studio are based in Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland, and the magazine dispatch center is located in Paimio in southern Finland.

OTTOBRE design® magazine is the main product of Studio Tuumat Oy. In addition, the company produces digital sewing patterns, the Creative Workshop basic pattern package and other supplementary material. It also sells fabrics featured in OTTOBRE design® magazine, as well as other sewing supplies, both online and in the OTTOBRE shop located on the same premises as the editorial office.

The Managing Director of the company is Tuula Hepola, Fashion Designer, who is also the Editor in Chief of the magazine and responsible for all OTTOBRE collections. Matti Hepola, Doctor of Laws, is responsible for the publishing and sales of the magazine.

All publishing rights and copyrights of OTTOBRE design® magazines are administered and controlled by Studio Tuumat Oy. OTTOBRE design® and OTTOBRE woman® are registered trademarks administered and controlled by Studio Tuumat Oy.
