100% Merino Baby , 50 g | 165 m.  A lot of colors to choose from. Concept by Katia Merino Baby is a warm and soft merino yarn for sweaters, cardigans and cable jumpers. This yarn is suited especially when knitting for babies and children. We also recommend it for winter outdoor accessories like woolly hats, hoods, mittens, scarves and cowls. 

Merino Baby is one of our essential natural yarns, spun from the finest mulesing-free merino wool. The Superwash and Total Easy Care treatments ensure that Merino Baby garments are machine-washable up to 30ºC and suitable for gentle tumble drying.

Merino Baby is a premium cabled yarn created through a combing process that aligns the fibers, removes shorter fibers, and produces an exceptionally smooth, soft, and strong yarn with a clean, lustrous finish. This construction results in a beautifully balanced yarn, ideal for high-quality knitted or crocheted garments.

The origin of the merino wool is Australia and South America and the yarn is spun in Spain.

For a women’s long-sleeved sweater in size 40 (EU), you will need approximately 9 balls. For a baby cardigan (sizes 3–18 months), 100–200 g. For a double rib beanie, 2–3 balls.
