LEVERING
Wij leveren bestellingen overal in de wereld. De gemiddelde levertijd binnen Finland is 5-7 werkdagen, naar Scandinavische landen 6-8 werkdagen, binnen Europa 7-14 werkdagen en naar de rest van de wereld 7-30 werkdagen. De bestellingen worden vanuit Finland afhankelijk van de grootte van de verzending als een Priority brief of pakket gezonden. Vanwege logistieke redenen kan de bestelling in meerdere delen worden verzonden waardoor de zending op verschillende dagen bij de klant kan worden geleverd.

A distinctive knitting yarn for those who value quality and timelessness. Soft and lustrous Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) wool is a high-quality 100% wool sourced from the United Kingdom. It is rare and highly prized, and is considered one of the finest wool varieties in Britain.
BFL wool is exceptionally soft and has long fibres. Although it is not quite as fine as merino, it feels comfortable even when worn directly against the skin. Because BFL fibres are naturally long and curly, the yarn spun from them is highly durable and elastic. The long fibres also mean that finished garments are significantly less prone to pilling than those made from conventional sheep's wool.
BFL wool reflects light beautifully. It gives finished garments a refined, silky lustre and also brings out the richness of the yarn's colours. Our Blueface Wool range is available in both beautiful earthy shades and the natural colours of the sheep (ecru, light brown and dark brown). The yarn has a softly twisted construction and knits up into a beautifully even fabric. In finished garments, BFL wool is both breathable and warm, always providing a pleasant feel against the skin.
Thanks to its durability and softness, BFL is a truly versatile wool. It is suitable for sweaters and cardigans, scarves and hats. Because the fibre itself is strong, BFL is also highly popular for knitting socks — even on its own, without synthetic reinforcement fibres.
The yarn is part of the H. Couture collection by the Italian company Laines du Nord and is spun in Italy. The yarn is mulesing-free and has been awarded the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification [23CX00111 CENTROCOT].
