CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wool garments love fresh air, so air them out frequently. Small stains can be removed locally with a cloth dampened in diluted wool detergent and then rinsed with clean water.

Turn the garment inside out and wash gently by hand in lukewarm water (max. 30 °C). Use a liquid detergent designed for wool. Rinse carefully with gentle movement.

Remove excess water by rolling the straightened garment inside a terry towel and pressing lightly. Reshape the garment to its measurements and dry flat. Avoid heat and direct sunlight during drying. Do not tumble dry

DELIVERY

We deliver orders almost anywhere in the world. The average delivery time to Finland is 5–7 business days, to Scandinavia 6–8 business days, to the rest of Europe 7–14 business days, and to the rest of the world 7–30 business days. The orders are dispatched from Finland either as first-class letter mail or as parcels, depending on the size of the order. For logistic reasons, the order may be divided into several consignments, which may reach the customer at different times.

A soft and fluffy alpaca blend yarn containing 54% superfine alpaca and 46% polyamide. The yarn is feather-light, soft, and durable thanks to the polyamide chain that forms its core structure. The shades of this yarn are the natural colours of alpaca wool.

Air Alpaca yarn can be knitted with large needles, either single or double stranded. It can also be combined with other yarns, such as Katia Merino Baby.

Air Alpaca Blend is perfect for tiny tops, sweaters and cardigans, as well as statement accessories like beanies, hoods, scarves, and cowls. If you are looking for a fluffy yet durable everyday knit, this yarn is a perfect choice.

The alpaca wool originates from Peru, and the yarn is produced according to fair and responsible trade principles (Peruvian Fair Trade).

With two balls of Air Alpaca you can knit a small scarf, and with three balls a chunky beanie. For a women’s long-sleeved sweater in size EU 38 or M (US), you will need 7 balls.
