CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wool garments freshen up beautifully in the open air, so air them regularly. Remove small stains locally using a cloth dampened with diluted wool detergent, then rinse the cleaned area with lukewarm water.

For best results, gently hand wash your hand-knitted wool garments in plenty of lukewarm water. Use a liquid detergent specifically formulated for wool. Rinse gently, moving the garment lightly through the water. Do not rub or wring the fabric.

Katia's sock yarns have a superwash treatment, which also allows gentle machine washing on a wool cycle at 40°C (104°F). Turn your knitted garments inside out and place them in a laundry bag. Remove them from the washing machine immediately after the cycle has finished.

Remove excess water by laying the garment flat on a terry towel, rolling it up and gently pressing out the moisture. Reshape the garment to its intended dimensions and dry it flat. Avoid heat and direct sunlight while drying. Do not tumble dry.

DELIVERY

The average delivery time to Finland is 5–7 business days, to Scandinavia 6–8 business days, to the rest of Europe 7–14 business days, and to the rest of the world 7–30 business days. The orders are dispatched from Finland either as first-class letter mail or as parcels, depending on the size of the order. For logistic reasons, the order may be divided into several consignments, which may reach the customer at different times.

Symmetric Socks & More Christmas is a playful sock yarn, specially designed for the celebrations of the winter holiday season.

This 4-ply sock yarn is spun from a soft wool blend. Since little Christmas elves are often found tiptoeing around in their socks, a touch of polyamide has been added for extra strength and durability. This makes the yarn hard-wearing and easy to care for, and socks knitted from it can also be gently machine washed. A touch of winter starlight is woven into the yarn in the form of thin polyester strand in either gold or silver, adding a subtle festive shimmer.

Knit warm Christmas socks for the whole family with Symmetric Socks & More! Start knitting your first sock from the outside end of the ball (in the gradient colourways 101 and 201, start with red; in the striped colourway 100, start with green). Continue knitting until you reach the completely undyed section of the yarn. Wind off and remove the pale section, then start the matching sock at the next red section (colourways 101 and 201) or green section (colourway 100) to create a symmetrical pair. Refer to the colour-change points illustrated on the yarn label.
