CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Alpaca garments love fresh air, so air them regularly. Remove small stains locally using a cloth dampened with diluted wool detergent, then rinse with water. Gently brush the cleaned area with a soft clothes brush to restore its fluffy texture.

Turn the garment inside out and hand wash gently in lukewarm water (max. 30°C). Use a liquid detergent specially formulated for wool. Rinse the garment gently by moving it lightly in the water.

Remove excess water by laying the garment flat and rolling it inside a terry towel, then gently pressing the roll. Reshape the garment to its correct measurements on a towel and dry flat. Avoid heat and direct sunlight while drying.

We deliver orders almost anywhere in the world. The average delivery time to Finland is 5–7 business days, to Scandinavia 6–8 business days, to the rest of Europe 7–14 business days, and to the rest of the world 7–30 business days. The orders are dispatched from Finland either as first-class letter mail or as parcels, depending on the size of the order. For logistic reasons, the order may be divided into several consignments, which may reach the customer at different times.

Soffiato Superfine Alpaca is a warm and fluffy knitting yarn made from a soft superfine alpaca blend. A small amount of polyamide has been added to give structure to the softly spun alpaca fibres. Soffiato combines the finest qualities of alpaca wool: lustre, elasticity, lightness and durability. Alpaca fibre contains very little lanolin or wool grease, making it easy to keep clean and suitable also for skin that is sensitive to lanolin.

This sophisticated alpaca blend creates an airy and luxurious yarn that is perfect for eye-catching designs. Its lofty, fluffy structure feels wonderfully soft against the skin while providing pleasant warmth and comfort. Soffiato is an ideal choice for striking projects that knit up quickly. Six balls are enough for a women's sweater or cardigan in EU size 40/M. For a vest or scarf, 3–4 balls are sufficient. You can knit a cute, fluffy beanie with just one ball.
