CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wool garments benefit from frequent airing. Remove small stains locally using a cloth dampened with diluted wool detergent, then rinse the area with clean water. Gently brush with a clothes brush.

Turn the garment inside out and hand wash gently in lukewarm water (maximum 30°C). Use a liquid detergent specifically designed for wool. Rinse carefully without agitation. Remove excess water by rolling the garment flat inside a terry towel and pressing lightly. Lay flat on a towel, reshape to the correct measurements, and allow to dry flat. Avoid heat and direct sunlight during drying.

DELIVERY

We deliver orders almost anywhere in the world. The average delivery time to Finland is 5–7 business days, to Scandinavia 6–8 business days, to the rest of Europe 7–14 business days, and to the rest of the world 7–30 business days. The orders are dispatched from Finland either as first-class letter mail or as parcels, depending on the size of the order. For logistic reasons, the order may be divided into several consignments, which may reach the customer at different times.

PIUMA ALPACA, 50 g

Piuma Alpaca is a versatile yarn made from a fluffy alpaca and wool blend. Each skein weighs 50 g and contains approximately 100 m of yarn. It is crafted from a premium blend of 55% alpaca, 40% wool, and 5% polyamide (nylon). There is something truly magical about working with a yarn that combines softness, warmth, and incredible lightness.

This delicate blend of alpaca and wool creates a sophisticated yarn that is perfect for eye-catching designs. Its airy texture gently caresses the skin while providing warmth and comfort. Thanks to its excellent yardage, Piuma Alpaca is ideal for creating voluminous and refined garments using just a few skeins. Knit a jumper or cardigan, a vest or a hooded shawl — or even a cute, fluffy hat.
The yarn is made in Italy.

Each skein weighs 50 g and contains approximately 100 m (109 yds) of yarn. It is classified as a medium-weight yarn (Aran; approx. 200 m per 100 g).

GAUGE

10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) = 9 stitches and 14 rows

We recommend knitting a gauge swatch to ensure your stitch density matches the pattern requirements. This helps achieve the correct size and drape in the finished garment.

Approximately 5 skeins are required to knit a women’s long-sleeve jumper in size 40–42 (EU) / Medium (US). A wool beanie requires 1–2 skeins.
