CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Gently hand wash your hand-knitted merino wool and silk garment in plenty of lukewarm water. Use a mild liquid detergent specifically designed for wool and silk.

Rinse gently, moving the garment carefully through the water. Do not rub, wring or twist.

To remove excess water, lay the garment flat on a clean terry towel, roll it up and gently press. Unroll the towel, reshape the garment to its correct measurements and leave it to dry flat.

Avoid heat and direct sunlight while drying.

Do not spin. Do not tumble dry.

DELIVERY

The average delivery time to Finland is 5–7 business days, to Scandinavia 6–8 business days, to the rest of Europe 7–14 business days, and to the rest of the world 7–30 business days. The orders are dispatched from Finland either as first-class letter mail or as parcels, depending on the size of the order. Katia’s lightweight and airy Merino-Silk yarn is made from high-quality, long-fibre merino wool and luxurious silk, with a touch of polyamide to add strength and durability to the yarn. This yarn combines the best qualities of merino wool and silk: softness, breathability and a wonderfully pleasant feel against the skin.

Merino-Silk is made using a chainette construction, where the fibres are knitted into a flexible, cord-like structure rather than being traditionally twisted together. This construction gives the yarn its characteristic lightness, softness and breathability, while creating a beautifully even knitted fabric. It is ideal for simple textured stitches and delicate lace pattern designs.

The adorable little 25 g ball contains approximately 95 metres / 104 yards of yarn, making Merino-Silk surprisingly generous for its size. It is perfect for creating the sweetest baby garments, as well as lightweight sweaters and scarves.
