Wool garments benefit from fresh air, so air them regularly. Remove small stains locally by dabbing with a clean cloth moistened with diluted wool detergent, then rinse the treated area with water.

Garments knitted from mercerized wool can be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle at 30 °C (86 °F). Use a neutral detergent designed for wool and select a wool, silk, or hand-wash program. Only light spin is permitted.

Turn the garment inside out and wash it in a mesh laundry bag. Remove it from the machine immediately after the cycle ends. Lay flat to dry on a clean towel placed on a drying rack and gently reshape to measurements. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach.
