The lightly elastic Cotton Stretch yarn is made from high-quality, long-staple cotton (87%), known for its softness and excellent durability. The yarn includes a very fine, slightly crimped polyester strand (13%), which gives it elasticity and good recovery.
Cotton absorbs moisture well, is breathable, and resistant to pilling. It also feels wonderfully comfortable against the skin, making it an ideal choice for warm summer days.
With Cotton Stretch yarn, you can create cheerful, colorful garments for the whole family, whether knitting or crocheting. The yarn looks especially beautiful in stockinette stitch or textured patterns. It is also an excellent choice for socks, as its elasticity improves both fit and shape retention. The yarn is vegan.
For a short-sleeved T-shirt, you will need 6–7 balls, and for a long-sleeved sweater, 8–9 balls in size EU 38–40 | US M. A children’s shirt (toddler age) requires 3–5 balls. One pair of adult ankle socks can be knitted from two 50 g balls.
The yarn is designed and manufactured in Spain.
