CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Garments knitted from wool-blend yarns love fresh air, so air them regularly. Remove small stains locally using a cloth dampened with diluted wool detergent, then rinse the cleaned area with water.

Turn the garment inside out and hand wash gently in lukewarm water (max. 30°C). Use a liquid wool detergent specifically designed for wool. Rinse the garment gently, moving it lightly through the water.

Do not spin. Remove excess water by laying the garment flat and rolling it inside a clean terry towel, gently pressing to absorb the water. Reshape the garment to its measurements on a towel and leave it to dry flat. Avoid heat and direct sunlight while drying.

DELIVERY

We deliver orders almost anywhere in the world. The average delivery time to Finland is 5–7 business days, to Scandinavia 6–8 business days, to the rest of Europe 7–14 business days, and to the rest of the world 7–30 business days. The orders are dispatched from Finland either as first-class letter mail or as parcels, depending on the size of the order. For logistic reasons, the order may be divided into several consignments, which may reach the customer at different times.

Cashmere Cloud is a delightfully soft lace-weight yarn spun from natural fibres. It is made from a luxurious blend of wool, cashmere and cotton. Cashmere fibre is collected from cashmere goats living high in the mountains and is particularly prized for its exceptional softness, lightness, strength and warmth.

Our Cashmere Cloud range is available in five soft shades, with the different fibres creating a sophisticated and beautifully lively surface. This is a very generous yarn: each 25 g ball contains 180 metres (100 g ≈ 720 m), making it quick and enjoyable to knit. In addition to stocking stitch and lace knitting, Cashmere Cloud is particularly well suited to a variety of ribbed and brioche patterns.

When knitting with fluffy yarns, it is a good idea to choose slightly larger needles than usual to create an airy fabric. As the yarn is worn, the fluffy fibres bloom and become more prominent, filling out the surface of the knitted fabric.

Thanks to its airy construction, garments knitted with Cashmere Cloud are exceptionally lightweight, soft and warm. Knit a beautiful scarf, cosy hat or lovely sweater to see you through cooler days. Breathable Cashmere Cloud is also an excellent choice for short-sleeved sweaters and other lightweight knits for warmer seasons, for both adults and children.

The yarn is also easy to combine with lightweight, smooth basic yarns, such as Katia Silky Lace.
