Lana Grossa Baco Bamboo is a luxurious, lightweight knitting yarn that combines three precious natural fibres.
The core of the yarn is made from the finest extrafine merino wool, while bamboo fibres give it a beautiful sheen and yak wool lends the yarn its distinctive, subtly heathered colour palette. The result is a soft yarn with a gentle lustre, rich tonal variation and excellent stitch definition. The warm, spicy colours create a harmonious palette that makes Baco Bamboo wonderfully versatile. The fibres absorb dye in slightly different ways, giving the yarn a beautiful depth and natural vibrancy.
Baco Bamboo is breathable, warm and durable, and feels exceptionally comfortable against the skin. It is an excellent choice for lightweight knitted sweaters and cardigans, vests and slipovers when you want to add a touch of everyday luxury to your wardrobe. The yarn works beautifully for simple stockinette stitch garments as well as textured patterns featuring knit and purl stitches or intricate cables.
Patterns for the garments shown in the product images are available on the Lana Grossa website. For a women's long-sleeved sweater in EU size 38–40, you will need 450–500 g (9–10 balls) of yarn. For a men's slipover in size 50, you will need 300–350 g (6–7 balls).
