DELIVERY
We deliver orders almost anywhere in the world. The average delivery time to Finland is 5–7 business days, to Scandinavia 6–8 business days, to the rest of Europe 7–14 business days, and to the rest of the world 7–30 business days. The orders are dispatched from Finland either as first-class letter mail or as parcels, depending on the size of the order. For logistic reasons, the order may be divided into several consignments, which may reach the customer at different times.
The webshop will calculate the delivery charges according to the size of the products ordered and according to the country of destination. Please select your country of delivery from the menu and add the products you wish to order to the cart. You will see the delivery charges before confirming your order and paying for it.

ALPAQUINA SUPERFINE, 100 g
If you are looking for a warm, soft and breathable knitting yarn for everyday garments, discover Katia’s ALPAQUINA SUPERFINE alpaca yarn. Alpaquina is spun from 75% superfine alpaca and reinforced with 25% polyamide, which makes the yarn durable and easy to care for. The superfine alpaca fibre is extremely fine (fibre thickness 0.02 mm), giving the knitted fabric an exceptionally soft, non-itchy feel. Alpaca fibre is naturally gentle and kind to the skin, as it contains only trace amounts of lanolin.
Alpaquina is the perfect yarn for knitting all kinds of lightweight garments and is also ideal for baby clothes. It is also suitable for knitting warm socks for the whole family. Alpaquina works beautifully for textured and lace patterns, as well as for elegant colourwork designs.

Each hank weighs 100 g and contains approximately 360 mm | 393 yds of yarn. The yarn is classified as fingering weight (360–480 m (EU) | 393–525 yards (US) per 100 g).
RECOMMENDED NEEDLE OR HOOK SIZE
The manufacturer recommends knitting with 2–2.5 mm (EU) | 0-2 (US) needles and crocheting with 2.5-3 (EU) and 2-D/D-3 (US) hook.

We always recommend knitting a gauge swatch to ensure that your gauge matches the pattern requirements and that the finished garment is the correct size and drapes beautifully. For a women’s long-sleeved sweater in size 40 (EU) | M (US), you will need 5 hanks (500 g) of yarn. A simple knitted beanie or a pair of adult socks requires 1 hank (100 g).
