Polynesia is a beautiful slub yarn spun from three plant-based fibres: cotton, linen, and viscose. The yarn features irregular thicker sections (slubs) that create a lively, slightly textured surface in knitted fabrics. The subtle sheen of viscose enhances the richness of the colours, while the combination of linen and cotton adds an interesting natural texture.

When knitted, the blend of matte cotton, rustic linen, and shimmering viscose creates a modern and eye-catching look. The yarn’s structure and weight make it pleasant and quick to knit. Even simple stockinette stitch highlights its lively texture and adds visual interest to any project. Finished garments are lightweight and airy. Cotton helps wick moisture away from the skin, while linen provides excellent breathability and enhances wearing comfort.

Polynesia is ideal for knitting tops, blouses, dresses, and eye-catching shawls. A knitted dress for children’s sizes 4–6–8 years requires approximately 4–5–6 balls. A women’s sweater in size M requires 4–5 balls, and a long shawl also requires 4–5 balls.
