Mohair Cotton, 50 g

Concept Mohair Cotton combines GOTS-certified organic cotton (70%) with exquisitely soft Super Kid Mohair (30%). The cotton fibre is exceptionally soft and durable, while Kid Mohair – obtained from the fine, silky fleece of young Angora goats – gives the yarn its airy lightness and luxurious feel. Mohair is prized for its softness, loft and feather-light texture, and its fibres have a beautiful sheen with a subtle silk-like glow.

Mohair fibres provide excellent temperature regulation, keeping you cool when it is warm and retaining warmth when it is cool. Our collection includes nine timeless and elegant shades. In addition to simple stockinette, this premium-quality yarn is ideal for textured and lace knitting. Its airy chain-like construction makes it particularly suitable for lightweight and elegant garments and accessories such as tops, sweaters and shawls.

Concept Mohair Cotton performs best when knitted on larger needles or crocheted with a larger hook to create a light fabric where the delicate halo of the mohair fibres gently fills the surface. Please note that people with very sensitive skin may find mohair irritating, even when it is the exceptionally fine quality Super Kid Mohair.
