Katia Atenea is a beautiful natural fiber yarn, perfect for light and fluffy knits. Its core is made of fine yet durable Mako cotton, spun from high-quality, long-staple Egyptian cotton. Merino wool and cashmere fibers are spun around the cotton core, creating a cloud-soft and wonderfully lightweight yarn. Thanks to its softness and breathability, Atenea is a popular choice for summer garments as well as baby knits.

Atenea can be knitted single or held double. For a slightly thicker fabric, it can also be combined with a smoother fingering-weight yarn. It is especially well suited for delicate lace patterns. The yarn’s delicate palette of muted tones makes it a perfect choice for every season. One 25 g ball contains approximately 175 meters (191 yards) of yarn.
