Cotton in Love, 50 g

Cotton in Love is a classic, timeless yarn spun from long-staple Egyptian cotton (50%) and fine merino wool (50%). The softness of cotton combines beautifully with the temperature-regulating and breathable qualities of merino wool, resulting in a versatile and reliable DK-weight yarn suitable for year-round use.

Cotton in Love is an excellent choice for knitting or crocheting garments and accessories for both adults and children. The yarn is also suitable for sensitive skin and is especially ideal for beautiful baby knits. Our collection includes five soft, nature-inspired shades.

Recommended needle size is 3.5–4 mm, producing lightweight and airy garments. The yarn works well for stockinette stitch, garter stitch, and ribbing, while also creating stunning cables and lace patterns.

You can find the patterns shown in the photos on Katia's website. For a striped baby cardigan (sizes 3–6–9–12 months), you will need 3–4 balls of the main colour (brown) and 1 ball of a contrasting colour. For the three-colour striped sweater, you will need 2–3 balls of white and 1 ball each of two additional colours.

For the women's lace sweater, you will need 12–15 balls; for the cabled sweater, 13–17 balls; and for the neck warmer, 9–13 balls in sizes M–L–XL–XXL.

For the men's cardigan in sizes M–L–XL–XXL, you will need 13–17 balls.

The yarn is designed and manufactured in Spain.
