Babilonia, 50 g

Babilonia is a sophisticated effect yarn that combines soft cotton with subtly lustrous viscose. The yarn is knitted into a narrow tube which flattens into a ribbon-like structure. The combination of the matte cotton surface and shimmering viscose sections worked at regular intervals creates a modern and eye-catching look.

The yarn’s tubular structure and weight make it pleasant and quick to knit. Even simple stockinette stitch highlights its beautiful texture and lively surface, adding visual interest to any project. For the lime green sweater, you will need 5–6–7–8–9 balls. For a women’s sweater in sizes M–L–XL–XXL, allow 8–9 balls, and for a long knitted dress, 12–15 balls.
